About Bone Voyage Jazz Band
Tom Hyatt and David Haldeman played together in groups around the Cincinnati area since the 1970s. When Tom returned to Cincinnati after playing in groups in Texas, Colorado, Minnesota , England and Germany, the two of them founded Bone Voyage, since both play trombones - Tom the valve trombone and trumpet and David the slide trombone. With Tom's passing on February 26, 2014, the band lost a good friend and fabulous musician.

Today, we are fortunate to have Ken Taylor now playing trumpet with us. In addition, Ron Bramlage adds his flute, clarinet and "boss" tenor sax sound to the group. Jim Clark or Scott Bailey, Bart Johnson or Lou Lausche and Steve Strider are our fantastic rhythm section. In addition, special guests like Chris VonVolborth and Martin Giesbrecht sit-in and lend their amazing talents to us all.

Bone Voyage Jazz Band has been entertaining folks since 2001, and always pleases with their variety of repertoire featuring the standard music of the 20th Century.
